Removable substitutes
Removable substitutes – as is clear from the name – are dental substitutes, which are attached to the remaining teeth with a variety of mechanisms and it is possible to remove them from the mouth at any time, according to needs of the client, and put them back, i.e particularly at times of regular hygienic maintenance of the denture.
With simple anchoring (retentive) features
This is the simplest type of a removable substitute, its retentive (catch) mechanism is just wire clips, by which the denture itself fits onto the remaining teeth. As they have a lot of disadvantages, they are used only as a temporary solution. MoreDenture skeleton substitutes
Skeleton substitutes are substitutes of higher quality, as their anchoring on the remaining teeth is more stable. So-called rigid (molten) non-wire clips are parts of the metallic skeleton of the substitute; their particular arms do not get loose, so they attach the denture better onto the remaining teeth. MoreHybrid substitutes
Hybrid substitutes are removable substitutes anchored to the remaining teeth with slide-in joints, possibly with the system of double-crowns (so called telescopes). MoreComplex removable substitutes
This is a substitute for a complete set of teeth (so called teeth into a glass). MoreProvided services
